Dr. White & Associates, P.C. Presents

Navigating Co-Parenting

Building a Unified Foundation for Your Child’s Well-being

Start Co-Parenting with Confidence

This 30-minute session is designed to transform the often high-stress experience of co-parenting into a structured, low-conflict approach that prioritizes children’s stability and well-being. The session explores the shift from managing a personal relationship to managing a collaborative partnership. Attendees will receive practical, actionable tools to de-escalate tension, establish predictable routines, and protect children from inheriting trauma.

Following the 30-minute presentation, there will be a 20-minute Q&A session.

This Workshop Is For

This talk is essential for all parents/guardians who are navigating separation, divorce, or are otherwise raising a child together while divided in some way.

Specifically, this includes:

  • Parents who are currently experiencing high conflict with their former partner.
  • Parents seeking proven strategies to improve communication and reduce friction.

  • Parents who want to ensure their child’s emotional well-being and stability during transitions.

  • New co-parenting pairs who are looking to establish healthy foundations from the start.

What will you walk away knowing how to do?

Upon completion of this talk, you will have practical skills and knowledge that enable you to:

  • Implement Low-Conflict Communication: Learn and apply the “Soul/Sole” communication model to keep interactions brief, neutral, and focused purely on child wellbeing, eliminating emotional triggers and irrelevant personal discussions.
  • Create a Child-Centered Schedule: Understand how to build a detailed, functional parenting schedule (including holidays and special events) that prioritizes predictability for the child and minimizes last-minute disputes.
  • Establish Consistent Boundaries: Define clear, mutual rules and expectations for key areas (like homework, bedtime, and discipline) that are upheld in both households, ensuring children experience approximate consistency rather than confusion.
  • Build Resiliency in the Children: Publicly recognize and actively avoid common co-parenting pitfalls, such as negative talk about the other parent, or using the child as a messenger, thereby protecting your child’s mental and emotional health.
